Quirky Characters, Extraordinary People

Harborough has had its fair share of interesting people who've either gone on to greater things or were well known locally for their idiosyncrasies. On this walk we find out about the Nobel prize winning scientist, an emissary to Elizabeth I, a grumpy inn keeper, the man who invented tourism and numerous others who for one reason or another have become part of the town's folk law.

Starting Point:       Under the Old Grammar School

Duration of Walk:  1 1/2 - 2 hours
